Football Game Preview: Pequannock Golden Panthers vs. Madison Dodgers

Pequannock is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Madison a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Pequannock Golden Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Madison Dodgers at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Pequannock's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They walked away with a 12-0 win over Morris Catholic. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Golden Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Madison). They managed a 48-42 win over Sparta on Saturday.

Pequannock's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Madison, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Pequannock barely slipped by Madison in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 28-27. Do the Golden Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dodgers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
