Softball Recap: Dillon Christian Finds Playoff Glory Versus Thomas Academy

It's playoff time, and Dillon Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past Thomas Academy 3-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lilli Shooter was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Dillon Christian's win bumped their record up to 14-8.
