Baseball Game Preview: Quitman Bulldogs vs. Edgewood Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Quitman will face off against Edgewood. Quitman will welcome Edgewood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Quitman has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with four straight defeats, while Edgewood will come in with four straight wins.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Quitman's offense. They lost 10-0 to Edgewood on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Quitman has lost by exactly ten runs.

Quitman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Davis Watson, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Edgewood pushed their record up to 19-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Quitman, their loss dropped their record down to 6-18-1.
