After a string of ten wins, Glendale Adventist's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the Glendale Nitros. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Nitros apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-12, 21-25, 25-19.

Glendale Adventist's defeat dropped their record down to 20-2. As for Glendale, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-13 record this season.

Glendale Adventist will welcome San Gabriel Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Glendale, they will head out on the road to take on Burroughs at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Nitros surely won't give up without a fight.
