Basketball Game Preview: Oklahoma Christian Academy Eagles vs. Pawhuska Huskies

The Oklahoma Christian Academy Eagles will be taking part in a tournament against the Pawhuska Huskies at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.

Oklahoma Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road back in November of 2024 and hit a couple of potholes. They were outmatched by Casady and fell 73-23. The Eagles' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it 18 in a row dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Pawhuska against Barnsdall on Monday as the team secured a 55-9 win. With the Huskies ahead 38-5 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Pawhuska's win came from a few key players Oklahoma Christian Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Hannah Reynolds, who went 6 of 13 en route to 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Pawhuska's points. Another player making a difference was Maggie Green, who posted ten points and seven steals.

Oklahoma Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 54-28 defeat they got from Pawhuska in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Oklahoma Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
