Gulf Coast is 8-1-1 against Riverdale since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Gulf Coast Sharks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Riverdale Raiders at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Gulf Coast's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Estero by a score of 2-0.

Marco Zamora and David Velez scored both of Gulf Coast's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, Riverdale's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top in a nail-biter against North Fort Myers, sneaking past 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Riverdale's victory bumped their record up to 4-7-3. As for Gulf Coast, the win got them back to even at 7-7-2.

Gulf Coast took their victory against Riverdale when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Will Gulf Coast repeat their success, or does Riverdale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
