The Great Valley Patriots will venture away from home to face off against the Lower Merion Aces at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Great Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Great Valley didn't have quite enough to beat East and fell 5-4. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Joey Newell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Owen Powell, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Lower Merion suffered their biggest defeat since May 20, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against Garnet Valley, falling 9-1. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Aces couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lower Merion's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Great Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.
