Football Recap: Menomonie Comes Up Short

Menomonie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Chippewa Falls Cardinals 36-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 35-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Menomonie now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Chippewa Falls, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-5.

As of now, neither Menomonie nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
