Softball Recap: Attica Comes Up Short

Attica extended their losing streak to five on Wednesday, dropping them down to 3-16. They came up short against the Riverton Parke Panthers, falling 12-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Ramblers of the 15-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Attica saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenzie Goff, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Goff is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last nine games she's played.

As for Riverton Parke, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games.

On Riverton Parke's side, Aubri Morman was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinsleigh Ugoletti, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Coincidentally, Attica and Riverton Parke will both be playing Seeger the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Red Ramblers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
