Basketball Recap: Texas Comes Up Short

Texas lost against Mt. Pleasant back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Texas Tigers fell 55-45 to the Mt. Pleasant Tigers.

Texas' defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Mt. Pleasant, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Marshall the next time they take the court. Texas will host Marshall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Mt. Pleasant will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on January 24th.
