Newfield took a six-goal loss the last time they faced off against Odessa-Montour, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Trojans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Grizzlies on Tuesday, sneaking past 1-0.

Newfield's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Odessa-Montour, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5.

Coincidentally, Newfield and Odessa-Montour will both be playing Tioga the next time they take the pitch. The Grizzlies will host the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Trojans will host them at 5:00 p.m. on the 9th.
