Paul VI waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory. The game marked the Eagles' most dominant win of the season so far.

While Paul VI won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-14, 25-19.

Bayard Rustin's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Mady Parkinson, who had six digs and five aces, and Julianna Gotto, who had 13 assists and four digs. Parkinson is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Paul VI's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Bayard Rustin, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Paul VI will challenge Lenape at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bayard Rustin, they will head out on the road to face off against Coatesville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
