Basketball Recap: Pansophia Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against West Michigan Lutheran

Pansophia Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 62-54 to the West Michigan Lutheran Mustangs. One positive for the Pansophia Pumas, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Pansophia Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Greyson Tomlinson, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Tomlinson now owns an excellent 41.2% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Israel Washington, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 18 boards.

Even though they lost, Pansophia Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Pansophia Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for West Michigan Lutheran, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-6.

Coming up, Pansophia Academy will head out to square off against Countryside Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Michigan Lutheran, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
