Softball Recap: Pisgah Finds Home Field Redemption Against Munford

There's no place like home for Pisgah, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Munford Lions on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Pisgah has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. Munford's loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-2.

Coincidentally, Pisgah and Munford will both be playing Wetumpka the next time they take the field. Pisgah will head out to face Wetumpka at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, while Munford will play them later in the day, at 4:30 p.m.
