Soccer Recap: Clear Springs Finishes Even with Marcus

For the first time this season, Clear Springs was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Marcus Marauders finished up their match with a 0-0 draw on Saturday.

With that draw, Clear Springs' record moves to 4-4-1. Meanwhile, Marcus' record is now 2-1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clear Springs will venture away from home to face off against Clear Brook at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clear Springs' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Marcus, they will head out on the road to challenge Lewisville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marcus' last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
