Jacob Spivey Game Report: @ SouthWest Edgecombe

Washington had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Jacob Spivey sure wasn't going down easily. Nobody could stop Spivey as he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

Even though Spivey couldn't lead Washington over SouthWest Edgecombe, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pam Pack will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 153 places lower in North Carolina), but they're not letting that get them down.
