Basketball Recap: Cornerstone Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against Woodlawn

Cornerstone Christian Academy entered their tilt with Woodlawn on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Woodlawn Trailblazers 45-20. That 25 point margin sets a new team best for the Crusaders this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cornerstone Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Titianna Lassiter, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Lassiter's afternoon made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Clanton, who posted ten points in addition to seven boards and six steals.

Cornerstone Christian Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Woodlawn, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Cornerstone Christian Academy will be playing at home against Covenant Classical at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Woodlawn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
