Baseball Recap: Olympic Heights Gets the Win

The Olympic Heights Lions had just enough and edged out the ABF Academy Homestead Black Bandits 7-5 on Wednesday.

Charles Garland and Camilo Castellon did most of the damage at the plate: Garland got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs, while Castellon went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Those two runs gave Castellon a new career-high.

Olympic Heights' win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for ABF Academy Homestead Black, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Olympic Heights will face off against Atlantic Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Sharks have averaged an impressive 16 runs per game this season. As for ABF Academy Homestead Black, they will challenge TNXL Miami at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
