Baseball Recap: Bolles Triumphs

Episcopal School of Jacksonville typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Bolles proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 9-4. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Denzel Del Valle Delgado was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of James McCranie, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Bolles' victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Episcopal School of Jacksonville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-4.

Looking ahead, Bolles will be playing at home against Creekside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Creekside's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Bolles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Episcopal School of Jacksonville, they will face off against First Coast at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Episcopal School of Jacksonville 2.3, First Coast 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
