Volleyball Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Waterloo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cambridge Bluejays. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bluejays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 9th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 15-25, 25-17.

Lilli Lauersdorf paced Waterloo's offense, picking up 19 kills. Lauersdorf got some help from Emma Crave and her 15 assists. Paytn Hauptli controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 16-7. As for Cambridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Waterloo is set to face off against their familiar foe New Glarus at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cambridge will square off against rival Belleville at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
