Basketball Game Recap: Red Bluff Spartans vs. Henley Hornets

The Red Bluff Spartans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 51-31 loss at the hands of Henley. While losing is never fun, Red Bluff can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 668th in California, while Henley is ranked 15th in Oregon).

Marcos Torres was Red Bluff's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Kayden Leaf held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.

Red Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Henley, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Red Bluff will head out on the road to face off against Yreka at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Henley is on the road again on Saturday and play against Del Norte at 10:30 a.m. on December 2nd.
