Softball Recap: Southlands Christian Takes a Loss

Southlands Christian couldn't beat Rolling Hills Prep on Thursday even though they stacked five runs on them in the sixth inning. The Eagles fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since February 20th.

Analisa Guerrero was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Taya Marvel, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Southlands Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-10 record this season.

As of now, neither they nor Rolling Hills Prep have any future games scheduled.
