Softball Recap: Cornwall Central Takes a Loss

Cornwall Central lost against Valley Central back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Dragons fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cornwall Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Valley Central, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cornwall Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Washingtonville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Valley Central will take on rival Goshen Central at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Vikings 4, the Gladiators 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
