Soccer Game Preview: Center vs. Spring Hill

Center hasn't had much luck against Spring Hill recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Roughriders will welcome the Panthers at 5:00 p.m.

Center is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals on Saturday, they were much more limited against Kilgore on Monday. They lost 6-0 to the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Center can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 376th, while Kilgore are ranked 125th).

Meanwhile, Spring Hill kept a clean sheet against Tatum on Tuesday. They blew past the Eagles 6-0. Spring Hill might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by three goals or more this season.

Spring Hill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those five matches. As for Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.
