Baseball Recap: Hancock Comes Up Short

Hancock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 17-1 to the Valley Park Hawks. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly 16 runs.

Hancock's loss dropped their record down to 3-17-1. As for Valley Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

While Hancock had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
