Volleyball Recap: West Marshall Takes a Loss

West Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Boone Toreadors.

West Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Boone, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

West Marshall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Prairie City-Monroe on the 4th. As for Boone, they will square off against Ballard at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
