Basketball Recap: Archbishop Chapelle Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Edna Karr, Archbishop Chapelle was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 39-31 victory over the Mt. Carmel Cubs. The win continues a trend for the Chipmunks in their matchups with the Cubs: they've now won three in a row.

Kaylee Dublin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8-for-10 on her way to 18 points and five boards. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in shooting accuracy (80%). Hailey Ford was another key player, putting up ten points.

Archbishop Chapelle's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Mt. Carmel, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

Archbishop Chapelle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-44 defeat against John Curtis Christian on the 3rd. As for Mt. Carmel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 49-38 win against St. Thomas Aquinas on the 1st.
