Recap: Alpharetta Raiders vs. Lassiter Trojans
The Alpharetta Raiders lost to the Lassiter Trojans back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Alpharetta secured a 54-49 W over Lassiter. The victory was all the more spectacular given Alpharetta's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while Lassiter is ranked 38th).
Lassiter lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jay Chege, who scored five points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Emmanuelli, who scored 13 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Alpharetta and bumps their season record up to 15-10. As for Lassiter, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-7.
Alpharetta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lassiter also has no future games currently scheduled.
