Basketball Game Preview: Unity Christian Academy Warriors vs. Terra Ceia Christian Knights

Unity Christian Academy is 0-6 against Terra Ceia Christian since November of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Warriors will host the Knights at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Unity Christian Academy lost to Mount Calvary Christian Academy on the road by a 46-27 margin.

Meanwhile, Terra Ceia Christian strolled into their game last Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on Pungo Christian Academy with a sharp 76-55 win. The Knights pushed the score to 54-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Raiders cut but never quite recovered from.

Unity Christian Academy better keep an eye on Ryan Ange. He was instrumental in Terra Ceia Christian's win, dropping a double-double with 24 points and 14 boards. Ange is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last eight games he's played dating back to last season. Aidan Persons was another key player, putting up 21 points and seven boards.

Terra Ceia Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in eight consecutive games dating back to last season.

Unity Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Terra Ceia Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Unity Christian Academy took a serious blow against Terra Ceia Christian in their previous matchup back in January, falling 79-31. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Warriors were down 44-22.
