Baseball Game Preview: ABF Academy Homestead Bandits vs. Coral Shores Hurricanes

The ABF Academy Homestead Bandits will face off against the Coral Shores Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. ABF Academy Homestead's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three contests, but Thursday's match will give them a chance to turn things around.

ABF Academy Homestead fell victim to Calvary Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 9-0. Considering the last time the Bandits couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Coral Shores didn't have quite enough to beat Palmer Trinity on Tuesday and fell 2-1. The game marked the Hurricanes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Coral Shores saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was AJ Putetti, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Coral Shores' loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-3-1. As for ABF Academy Homestead, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.
