Creekside had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Rome Wolves as they made off with a 48-28 win. Things were looking grim for the Seminoles in the first quarter (they were down by 21) but they stormed back to get the matchup.

Creekside got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gary Walker out in front who rushed for 194 yards and one score while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Ced Kelley, who rushed for 124 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine carries.
