Basketball Recap: Spring Hill Takes a Loss

Spring Hill came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt an 84-27 loss at the hands of the Creek Wood Red Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 363rd, while the Red Hawks are ranked 103rd).

Spring Hill dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Creek Wood, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Spring Hill is set to face off against their familiar foe Battle Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Creek Wood will challenge rival Montgomery Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
