Cincinnati Christian snaps four-game streak of wins at home

Recap: Cincinnati Christian Cougars vs. Miami Valley Christian Academy Lions

After flying high against the Emmanuel Christian Academy Lions last Saturday, the Cincinnati Christian Cougars came back down to earth. Cincinnati Christian fell just short of Miami Valley Christian Academy by a score of 57-54. Cincinnati Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Miami Valley Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Henry Patterson was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds for Miami Valley Christian Academy. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Durand, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.

Cincinnati Christian's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Cincinnati Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Taylor at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Fayetteville-Perry at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
