Basketball Recap: Apache Comes Up Short

Apache lost to Cyril last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors lost 54-34 to the Pirates. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 191st, while the Pirates are ranked sixth).

Apache's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Cyril, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Apache didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-36 victory against Binger-Oney on the 31st. As for Cyril, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 46-41 win against Lookeba-Sickles on the 31st.
