Baseball Game Preview: Loveland Red Wolves vs. Mountain View Mountain Lions

The Loveland Red Wolves will square off against the Mountain View Mountain Lions at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Loveland is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Loveland's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to Windsor, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Mountain View's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 10-7 to Fort Collins.

Mason Belk was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 4-for-4.

Mountain View now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Loveland, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Loveland took their win against Mountain View in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 7-1 score. Will the Red Wolves repeat their success, or do the Mountain Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
