            The Crimson Cliffs Mustangs will take on the Corner Canyon Chargers in a tournament  on Thursday. Crimson Cliffs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5  runs per game  this season, so Corner Canyon's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Crimson Cliffs took a loss when they played away from home  on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Saturday. They came out on top against Payson by a score of  8-3.
 RAYCE BENNETT was a major factor no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. BENNETT was also solid in the batter's box,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with two  RBI and one  double. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  RBI.

 In other batting news,  MASON BURBIDGE was a standout: he scored two  runs while going 1-for-2. Crimson Cliffs is undefeated when  BURBIDGE posts two or  more  runs, but 2-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of  MCKAY WRIGHT, who  went 1-for-3 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.

Meanwhile, Corner Canyon earned  an  8-3 win over Roy  on Wednesday. The  victory continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won three in a row.
 The team  relied heavily on  Drew Whatcott, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.  Jack Munson was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 The  win  got Corner Canyon back to even at 1-1. As for Crimson Cliffs, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
