Soccer Game Preview: McEachern vs. Pebblebrook

The McEachern Indians will face off against the Pebblebrook Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

McEachern is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Harrison on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Hoyas. McEachern haven't had much luck with Harrison recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Pebblebrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Hillgrove, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Pebblebrook can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 335th, while Hillgrove are ranked 16th).

Pebblebrook's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for McEachern, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

McEachern might still be hurting after the 4-1 defeat they got from Pebblebrook in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can McEachern avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
