Softball Recap: Centennial Knights vs. Chattahoochee Cougars
Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 17-9 to the Chattahoochee Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 9-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Chattahoochee, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12.
Centennial will play host again on Tuesday to welcome Kell, where first pitch is scheduled at 6:00 p.m. Kell is coming into the game with six straight wins on the road, so Centennial will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for Chattahoochee, they will venture away from home to challenge Johns Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chattahoochee is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.
