Southeastern extends road losing streak to five

Recap: Southeastern Jungaleers vs. Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish

This season hasn't been kind to the Southeastern Jungaleers, who are still winless after their seventh game. They were outmatched by Notre Dame Prep on the road and fell 51-13. Southeastern was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-4.

Notre Dame Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sarah Okka out in front who scored eight points along with five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Sydney T Burke, who scored five points along with eight steals.

Southeastern bumped their record down to 0-7 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Notre Dame Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Southeastern is on the road again on Thursday and play against Renaissance at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th. Renaissance has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 311 points over their last five matches. As for Notre Dame Prep, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Almont at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th. Almont is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
