Basketball Game Preview: Valley Union Blue Devils vs. Duncan Wildkats

Valley Union hasn't had much luck against Duncan recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Valley Union Blue Devils will take on the Duncan Wildkats at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Valley Union is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Monday. They had to suffer through a 74-39 loss at the hands of Tombstone.

Meanwhile, Duncan came up short against Willcox on Monday and fell 51-43. The Wildkats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Duncan's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Valley Union, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.

Things could have been worse for Valley Union, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 45-31 loss to Duncan when the teams last played back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Duncan's Isaiah Sumner, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 boards.
