Concord had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Salisbury on Thursday. The Spiders blew past the Hornets 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Spiders sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Concord was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-10.

Lily Hermans paced Concord's offense, picking up seven kills. Hermans got some help from Adeline Fulton and her 17 assists. Hermans was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Concord's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Salisbury, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Concord will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against South Rowan at 6:00 p.m. As for Salisbury, they will venture away from home to square off against North Hills Christian at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
