Baseball Recap: Enumclaw's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

Enumclaw was the 8-7 winner over Kentlake when they last played one another back in April of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. Enumclaw fell 8-5 to Kentlake on Friday. The loss was the Hornets' first of the season.

Graham Wagner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Drew Francis, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Having lost for the first time this season, Enumclaw fell to 6-1. As for Kentlake, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Enumclaw beat Kentlake by a score of 1-0 on Monday.
