Basketball Recap: Elmwood Park Sets Scoring Season-High Against Wood-Ridge

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Elmwood Park). They walked away with a 69-61 win over the Wood-Ridge Blue Devils on Saturday. For the Crusaders, this counts as revenge for the 50-43 victory the Blue Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Elmwood Park moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Wood-Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Elmwood Park will square off against Hopatcong at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Hopatcong's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Wood-Ridge, they will challenge Bergen Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
