Volleyball Recap: Calexico Mission Comes Up Short

Calexico Mission was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Warner Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Tuesday.

Calexico Mission was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-23.

Calexico Mission's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Warner, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-10.

As of now, neither Calexico Mission nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
