Football Game Preview: Atlantic Sharks vs. Eagle's View Warriors

The Atlantic Sharks will challenge the Eagle's View Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Atlantic's offense hasn't had much luck over their past seven matchups, but Friday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Atlantic is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They lost 36-12 to North Florida Educational Institute on Friday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Eagle's View, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Keswick Christian by a score of 13-6 on Friday.

Eagle's View's win came from a few key players Atlantic will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jacorri Lavoile, who rushed for 132 yards and one TD while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. Ethan Garland was another key player, rushing for 48 yards and one touchdown.

Eagle's View was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 259 rushing yards. They are 4-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

One reason for the win was Eagle's View's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for nine sacks. Michael Goins and Caiden Williams were the leaders of the group effort as each produced three apiece. Billy Glover also made eight total tackles, which is notable because Eagle's View is 4-1 when he posts at least three total tackles, but 1-2 otherwise.

Eagle's View is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.8 points on average over those games. As for Atlantic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
