La Salle Institute entered their tilt with Stony Brook on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Stony Brook Bears 77-46. The Cadets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

La Salle Institute pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28 points. As for Stony Brook, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1.

La Salle Institute won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Portledge at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. La Salle Institute knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Portledge likes a good challenge. As for Stony Brook, they and Albany Academy for Boys will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday without much rest having both just played.
