Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Cade Stewart and Garrett Lowry Lead Paxton to Victory

Paxton won the last time they faced Sneads and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Paxton Bobcats snuck past the Sneads Pirates with a 49-43 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Paxton was led to victory by Garrett Lowry and Cade Stewart. Lowry dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards, while Stewart posted 14 points and seven rebounds. Wade Borgesen was another key player, putting up eight points.

Paxton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.

Paxton's record is now 9-10. As for Sneads, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Paxton Bobcats take on the Central Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sneads, they will host Ponce De Leon at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Ponce De Leon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
