San Juan Hills got themselves on the board against Newport Harbor on Tuesday, but Newport Harbor never followed suit. They came out on top against the Sailors by a score of 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Stallions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win made it two in a row for San Juan Hills and bumps their season record up to 9-12. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Newport Harbor, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Juan Hills will take on San Clemente at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newport Harbor, they will square off against Huntington Beach at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Oilers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Sailors surely won't give up without a fight.
