Kosciusko has been on the road for three straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will host the Grenada Chargers at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Kosciusko focused on turnovers this week as the team gave up 14 on Thursday.
Kosciusko will head into Thursday's matchup ready to turn things around: they lost a close one when they played on Tuesday but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on Thursday was a bit more commanding. They were outmatched by Leake Central on the road and fell 82-53.
Despite their loss, Kosciusko saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Josh Cole, who earned 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals, was perhaps the best of all. Meanwhile, Grenada was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 78-62 fall against DeSoto Central.
Despite the loss, Grenada had strong showings from Elizjah Townes, who went 6 for 12 en route to 13 points plus five rebounds, and Antonio Scott, who scored 24 points. Scott is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Joshua Guess, who had six points plus five rebounds.
