Basketball Recap: Myrtle Point Comes Up Short

Myrtle Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 43-30 to the Coquille Red Devils. The match marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 3-7. As for Coquille, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5.

Myrtle Point has already played their next game, a 58-38 loss against Siuslaw on the 3rd. As for Coquille, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-38 defeat against Santiam Christian on the 3rd.
